Through successful beta testing of PARMI’s Xceed, Accutronics has implemented a second 3D AOI station in production.
“Xceed is a leading-edge 3D AOI system. It utilizes the latest 3D dual laser technology, providing the clearest and most realistic 3D images that we’ve seen on the market. The sensor maintains focus during inspection which detects panel warp and the real-time data acquisition provides us with immediate access to data analysis,” states Luis Pedroso, President of Accutronics. “Long-term reliability of PCBs is extremely important to our customers. The company's addition of a second 3D AOI station is part of its on-going commitment to invest in the latest PCBA technology. Over the past 2 years, the company upgraded its AOI equipment and added five in-line PARMI SigmaX 3D Solder Paste Inspection stations.
